oh my word...buckles to die for.

Bought these boots yesterday at that shoe store on NW 23rd Ave. Cannot
think of for the life of me the name of the store but i will edit my post when
my forgetfulness subsides. Went in looking for my much lusted after 4 inch
high ankle boots and when they were sold out of my size i FELL IN LOVE
with these...and they hadn't sold outta my size.. uh oh rewind...actually the
sales girl came back out with the news: "all we have left is an 8 or a 10"
Sadness the eight is about a half size too small for me. But they fit and i can
walk and don't boots always stretch out anyway? After all these are shoes
i have spotted on manyof my favorite blogs yet never thought i'd actually
find. Besides living in the cold rainy city i am way in need of plenty more
boots for my wardrobe. Warm clothes...i never seem to have enough. Check
please hunny...these shoes are mine.

So was it a mistake? I don't really know yet. But what i can say is that after
a late night of line dancing in my new dashes of sexiness...and then wearing
them out again today on a long day of thrift store shopping BOTH OF MY
FEET HURT...and they hurt really bad! I think i'll keep these babies laying
around the house for the next week and then take them out for round two:
Operation Stretch The Hell Out of My Brand New Shoes. After all it always
seems to work out just fine...eventually.

yup i think my feet really are dying for these shoes.

Tia. oh my amazing friend from all over the place...currently reppinLA...
she was in town for work. And that of course means time for us to play.
Like EVERY weekend Tia is in town we both decided to do
some much needed
Goodwill shopping which meant finding some hot hot vintage items but
of course not getting out downtown til about 11. Parking
was then a tragedy
so unfortunately we both gotta even later start on a way late night out.

East...once again...twice in one week? well ya. always loving the NY vibe
and thankfully we went cuz the DJ was off the hook. Made for such
an amazing night...drinking...catching up on our lives. plans.boys.shopping...
bumpin to the beats...gotta little shakin that booty in toward the end of
the night. Cannot wait to go back..too bad Tia was only on loan for the
weekend. Next time you see her..it's gonna be cuz i am trippin it up down
in my hometown visiting Tia. (Hopefully in November..fingers crossed)

Yes its true. Think i am finally ready to take the plunge into the art of blogging.
Been trying to piece thoughts together and figure out exactly how i wanna
approach this whole thing. after stumbling upon pages like 4th and Bleeker
& thecobrasnake & LE FLASSH... [and getting oh so sick and tired of the whole
myspace/ facebook/ social networking waste of time]... I have decided it is time
for me to put a little bit of me out there for all to see. Call it a journal... a fashion
blog... a networking site... anything you like. For me it just is what it is.

Not a way to archive all that inspires me, or to lust after those things i so
desperately want and need in my life. I wont just copy and paste pictures and
ideas from other popular blogs and sites. Post and repost... Of what use is that?
i find none. No purpose.

But this.. this is simply a collection of my life. ME... my style. my thoughts.
